MIAMI (AP) - The Florida Marlins said right-hander Logan Kensing has been designated for assignment Saturday night, shortly after the reliever suffered the loss in a 6-4 defeat against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Marlins also announced left-hander Graham Taylor will be promoted from Double-A Jacksonville (Southern League) on Sunday when he is scheduled to make his major league debut by starting the series finale against the Phillies.Kensing was 0-1 with a 9.82 ERA in six games with Florida. He spent parts of the past six seasons with Florida.
Taylor was Florida's 10th-round selection in 2006.
