Tough to disagree with him. Got a pregame tour of the place and?it's really stunning. Nationals Park cost $600 million and I came away wondering where the money went. That wasn't the case at Citi Field. The?Jackie Robinson Rotunda is?a great touch. What I love about?it is that it celebrates the man more so than the Baseball player.

Love that the stadium is a pitchers' park. A lot of the same dimensions as Shea with a quirky outfield. High fence at different spots and right field bleachers create an overhang like old Tiger Stadium. You really have to give it a ride to get it out from left-center to right-center.

One complaint I've heard is that the facility doesn't scream Mets . The seats are dark green. The outfield wall is black and orange (think SF Giants colors). Citi Field did come with its own Home Run Apple. The one from Shea is on display at the bullpen entrance.

All in all, looks lilke they did a super job.

As far as Marlins Baseball stuff...Alfredo Amezaga is starting in center in place of Cameron Maybin. Manager Fredi Gonzalez said he wanted to give Amezaga a start this series and likes his numbers against John Maine.

Gonzalez said he was ready to do some tinkering with the lineup, possibly moving Emilio Bonifacio out of the leadoff spot. One scenario he did rule out was taking Hanley Ramirez out of the No. 3 hole.
