Great start by the Marlins , no doubt, but keep this annoying little fact in mind: The Fish won't see the lowly Nationals again until June 29, and that for just a three-game series down here. After that, the Marlins will have to wait until Aug. 4-6 in D.C. to whip up on their favorite targets. Then there will be six final chances to cuff the Nats around in September -three up there, three down here -- before settling in for the final stretch drive.
In the meantime, here's a look at how miserable things are around the Nats just now. Not even the immortal Baseball bandit Esmailyn "Smiley" Gonzalez could keep a brave face in times like these.
