PLAYER NEWS: --2B Dan Uggla was scratched from the starting lineup Saturday with a tight left hamstring. He was hurt on a play Friday when he had to stretch for a throw from shortstop Alfredo Amezaga to get a force at second. He returned Sunday and went 0-for-3.
--RHP Kiko Calero has a major league leading 15 appearances. He is on pace for 95 appearances, which would shatter the club record of 78 by Braden Looper in 2002.
MEDICAL WATCH:
RHP Hayden Penn (right ankle sprain) was injured May 1. He returned to action May 2.
LHP Andrew Miller (strained right oblique) went on the 15-day disabled list April 21. The injury is not believed to be serious. He played long-toss April 28, and he threw a bullpen session May 2. He might make a rehab start May 5 or May 6.
RHP Scott Proctor (sore right elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 27. He won't return before mid-May.
RHP Rick VandenHurk (inflamed right elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 28.
