--RHP Josh Johnson was sharp Friday night, rebounding nicely from a rough start in his previous outing. He held the Phillies to three hits and struck out eight in seven innings, lowering his ERA to 2.20. He'd allowed six runs in six innings against Washington in his previous start.
--2B Dan Uggla broke an 0-for-21 skid Friday with a three-run home run that landed in the upper deck. He finished 1-for-2 with two walks, raising his batting average to .207 from .196.
--As expected, 1B Jorge Cantu was out of the starting lineup Friday a third straight game. He hopes to return Saturday. He has been suffering from a deep bone bruise after being hit in the back of his left hand with a pitch in the first series of the season.

1B Jorge Cantu (sore left wrist) didn't play April 21-24. He is day-to-day.
LHP Andrew Miller (strained right oblique) went on the 15-day disabled list April 21. The injury is not believed to be serious.
RHP Scott Proctor (sore right elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 27. He won't return before mid-May.
RHP Rick VandenHurk (inflamed right elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 28.
