Hermida had gone 1-for-14 during the team's recent road trip before he was benched. He was 3-for-3 as a reserve over his last three appearances, including hits in each of the team's first two games in Atlanta. He's hitting .206 in August.
--1B Mike Jacobs is looking forward to this weekend's series against the Mets. He is hitting .323 (10-for-31) against the Mets this season.
--SS Hanley Ramirez needs one stolen base for his third straight season with at least 30.
