"We haven't talked about it at all, but we're aware of what's going on," said Larry Beinfest, the Marlins' president of baseball operations.

--The Marlins have options at 3B if Emilio Bonifacio continues to struggle. Gaby Sanchez, who lost the first base job in spring training, played two games at third base over the weekend for Class AAA New Orleans.

Bonifacio is batting .274 after going 2-for-5 Tuesday. Sanchez is batting .310 with two homers and 12 RBIs in 18 games with New Orleans.

BY THE NUMBERS: 6.86 -- ERA for RHP Ricky Nolasco after four starts. Nolasco led the staff with 15 wins last year.
