Catcher Matt Treanor will start up his rehab program again Tuesday after seeing groin-injury specialist Dr. William Meyers on Monday in Philadelphia.

Treanor will not need surgery and has been cleared to continue rehab. He has been out since July 8 with an injury reported as a left hip strain.

But with Treanor's return date uncertain and catchers Paul Hoover and John Baker combining to hit 17-for-85, the Marlins are in the market for a catcher.

The list of available catchers is long, but not all interest the Marlins.

MARLINS 7, METS 3: The Marlins came from behind for the 31st time with five runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Mets. The Marlins rallied twice, coming back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2. The Marlins got five consecutive hits to start the eighth off Joe Smith and Scott Schoeneweis. RHP Ricky Nolasco kept the Marlins in the game by allowing two runs and striking out eight in six innings. The Marlins are hoping Nolasco is back on track after two consecutive losses.
