The team's best player sat out Sunday with a sore shoulder but he'll be ready to start the second half of the season.

Shortstop Hanley Ramirez left Saturday's game in the second inning after injuring his right shoulder.

Although he didn't play Sunday, Ramirez said he will not miss Tuesday's All-Star game. He was voted by fans as the starting shortstop.

Ramirez first injured the shoulder last week in San Diego and had been icing it this week. He felt good enough to take batting practice before Sunday's game.

"Just like a regular day off," Ramirez said about Sunday. Ramirez has played in all but two of the Marlins' 95 games through Sunday.

Ramirez underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder last off-season.

Ramirez is batting .311 with 23 home runs and 45 RBIs.

DODGERS 9, MARLINS 1: LHP Andrew Miller ended Florida's first half of the season with his worst outing Sunday. He faced 15 batters, and 10 reached base. He allowed seven runs on five hits and five walks. The first six batters reached and scored. He was mercifully replaced by Mark Hendrickson with two outs in the second inning. Miller threw 30 pitches before recording his first out. He finished with 59 pitches, just 32 strikes.
