Left-handed starter Andrew Miller, who is 1-2 with a 9.12 ERA this season, isn't worried about soreness in his right knee. However, the Marlins have altered his conditioning program as a precaution.

"I don't want to get where he's landing wrong and it becomes and elbow or a shoulder," manager Fredi Gonzalez said.

Miller, who has inflammation, was removed Tuesday after covering first base and grimacing after his foot hit the bag. He had thrown just three innings, allowing six runs on nine hits. Gonzalez said the decision was based strictly on the knee.

Miller said he had the same issue with the knee last season in Detroit.

"It's not anything that is going to shut me down," said Miller, who describes it as a "slight discomfort."

DODGERS 13, MARLINS 1: The Marlins lost for the first time in six starts with Scott Olsen on the mound. Olsen (3-1) was due for a bad outing, and it came Wednesday when he allowed four runs in five innings for his first loss of the season. Matt Lindstrom failed to retire any of the three batters he faced, then left the game with a tight lower back. Florida's bullpen, effective all season, allowed nine runs in four innings.
